We will be hard pressed to surpass the record turnout of vendors and attendees that we had in 2011 but you can be assured of a great time for a great cause again this year.
Hilton Head’s local competition adheres to the strict tenet of “Anything Goes”. From alligator to chicken to possum along with the more traditional fixins, you will find a bit of everything at the Chili Cookoff. There are two types of judging for the competition. First, the general public is allowed to vote for the best chili in both professional and amateur categories. A group of honorable judges determine the best chili in a separate judging.
Honey Horn is a great location for our events and is located on the north end of the island where the Cross Island Parkway meets William Hilton Parkway. Click here for a map of how to find Honey Horn.
One ticket allows you to eat as much chili as you like. Beverages are extra. Anti-acids are provided by Burkes Pharmacy. Advanced tickets are $10.00 and available through any Kiwanis member, Burke’s Pharmacy, The Coastal Discovery Museum, or any location of NBSC or Wachovia bank. Tickets are also available at the door for $12.00.
Musical entertainment will be provided by “The Chilly Willy Band”.
We also thank our corporate sponsors for their generosity. Click here to see our Corporate Sponsors
